LARKS IN THE PARK
(Marquis Lane Open Space, Harpenden)
Sunday 30th June 2019
Activities Start at 12 Noon
Larks in the Park is a popular event offering a day of fun and entertainment for all the family, bringing together the communities of Harpenden and surrounding villages.
We, Batford Memorial Hall, are delighted once again to have accepted the invitation to organise and run the Larks 2019 event.
For our 7th annual Larks in the Park event, the theme is 'Roman". With visitor numbers growing year by year, Larks in the Park 2019 promises to be an event not to be missed!
We have bands performing on the main stage, along with a variety of performers and interactive activities to thrill the crowd around the arena. There will be rides, donkey rides, dancing and the Largest Mega Slide in Hertfordshire, which will be on offer to all those who dare!
Refreshments will be plentiful with a wide variety of stalls, including ice cream of course!
Batford's famous Duck Race will once again take place with everyone having the opportunity to buy a duck throughout the day. If you can't wait, please go to the Batford Duck Race page to reserve one now. Your sponsored ducks will brace the dizzy heights and rapids of the River Lea in a 'quackers' attempt to be the first across the line!
If you own or work for a company who would like to 'get involved' by sponsoring an activity, displaying a banner or featuring in our glossy A5 programme, we have further details available in our Sponsorship and Advertising page.
If you are are interested in booking a stall, we have both commercial and charity pitches still available. Please see our Stallholder Information page.
The fun kicks off at 12 noon on Sunday 30th June. If you haven't already joined our Facebook group, "Larks in the Park - Batford Springs 2019", please do so as this is the best way to guarantee that everyone is kept 100% up to date with all the latest news about the event.
We look forward to seeing you on the 30th, oh and please
tell your friends and family to come and join us as well...!
